Some years ago I began an inward search, a sincere journey to discover exactly who I am. I wanted to be able to see those enigmas that as a human being, made me feel uneasy and filled me with a desperate need to find my own answers.
At the same time, I began a kind of spiritual enrichment through visits I made to various countries of the world. I did all I could to get up to date with the history of other cultures and civilizations. I maintained long conversations with people of different religious backgrounds and holders of great spiritual knowledge and wisdom. It is to these people who I would like to express my gratitude for their support and their desinterested teachings.
All this led me to discover a new direction to take, a change of course in my inner journey in order to reach a clear conclusion: my pilgrimage must go towards and through love.
Love, the essence of the human being has changed through the ages; sometimes it has been forgotton and its own nature has been altered. Feelings and words are great mysteries that we all use in everyday life, although their true meanings are difficult or impossible to explain. The origin of true pure love seems to belong to another, different world to that we have created. The universal infinite love is eternal energy, powerful and unifying it remains amongst us, from time immemorial to the end of eternity.
The path I chose flourished from deep within myself, from what or who I truly sensed I was. It came from chaos as a process of destruction of everything that had existed before, so I had been guided throughout the years of my existance until this very moment, just to iniciate another totally new one, but this time, a constructive and creative existance. A rebirth that would transport me to a completely unknown place, newly perceived and guided by love.
During this creative process , I composed a series of abstract artworks using a digital technique. The pictures represent the content of different stages of my inner journey which I have named “Pilgrimage through Love”. I believe that this visual representation will be the best way to communicate and transmit the valuable answers I found to all who visit the exhibition.
THE SEARCH THROUGH LOVE that will now be on show was created in India. It emerged from its ancient epic literature. It was while I was reading “RAMAYANA” and learning about its meaning of true love that I found the source of inspiration for this artwork.
The exhibition itself, materially speaking, has also made a long journey to appear in the National Gallery of Jakarta (Indonesia), where thousands of people enjoyed it, along with the message it carries.
Now, after another long journey back to Spain, to León, my own home city, it has found a new place within this marvelous architectual and historical jewel: the Church of “Palat del Rey”, which is the oldest in the city. It will house my exhibition with the same warm hospitality with which it has opened its doors to thousands of pilgrims, people from different countries and creeds who engaged in a process, with verity and humilty in their hearts, set out on a road, a quest to cleanse and free themselves of everything that had converted their lives into a heavy backpack, but after shedding the weight, bit by bit, on the way to their destination, less weighed down, they were able to find the answer that everyone has had to search for within themselves. Perhaps something that they will never forget, and they will hold those sparks of enlightenment that came to them along way, as some of the most beautiful moments of their existance, like a true renaissance. The exhibition, “The Search through Love”, is a song to this universal sentiment that goes beyond all frontiers, races and religious beliefs.

The collection is made up of 30 pieces abstract art created by the technique of digital painting.
They are placed in a chronological order according to the process of their elboration, from Creation and Chaos to Serenity (from Chaos and creation to Serenity), evolving from a whirlpool and the closed geometrical shapes, to more sinuous aproaches. Femininity, sensuality, nature, from the Cosmos and from the Earth, they are some of the most important artistic facets present in all of them. The artistic concept is enhanced by some fragments that polish the final creative presentation.
For the planning of the exhibition in the “Palat del Rey”, I have included 5 new pieces of artwork which belong to the same series that were not previously seen by the public due to a lack of space but it will now be possible thanks to the characteristics and the size of the exhibition rooms.
The exhibition “The search through love” will be hosted at the Palat de Rey Church in León (Calle el Pozo) from October 29 to December 10, 2018. The inauguration will take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 29 in the church itself. In addition, that same day at 9:00 pm The Gran Café de León (Calle Cervantes) will host the presentation of the exhibition catalog.
